Stories Forged
By Hand.
"In a world dominated by high-speed machine stamping, we believe in the slow, rhythmic beat of the Karigar\'s hammer. Every indentation is a signature of human soul."
Established in 1984 in Lal Quarter, Delhi, our atelier houses generational artisans who have kept traditional Punjabi and Mughal-inspired jewelry designs alive. From pulling fine gold wires to hand engraving detailed wedding stories, we reject factory speed in favor of heirloom longevity.
Mastering the Noble Crafts
Nakshi Engraving (Chasing)
Artisans use fine steel chisels and miniature hammers to indent gold surfaces, creating high-relief floral patterns, deities, or customized family storytelling.
Filigree (Jali Work)
The process of melting gold, drawing it through progressive dies into microscopic wires, twisting them together, and soldering them into intricate lace-like designs.
Traditional Meenakari
Painting grooves in gold with colored mineral enamel dust, then firing it in specialized furnaces to fuse vibrant reds, greens, and blues onto the bridal bangles.
Supporting the
Artisans of Delhi
Machine gold stamping centers are fast, but they eliminate jobs and standardize heritage. At MRV, we pay fair wages to our Karigars, secure their health and workspaces, and run a apprenticeship project to train the younger generation in handmade Punjabi Gokhru and floral engraving.
